| The Civilian Employee Assistance Program is a short term
counseling intervention and referral service. It provides a way for employees
to seek help for problems which may have an effect on their job performance.
Referrals are made to appropriate helping agencies when long term assistance
is needed.
Examples of the kinds of problems
which may impact an employee's job performance:
- Depression
- Family & Marital Discord
- Financial Problems
- Legal Maters
- Health Related Illnesses (AIDS, Cancer, Heart Disease,
etc.)
- Job Related Stress
- Drug & Alcohol Addiction
